WELCOME to Holmes County and Millersburg, Ohio!!!

He is RISEN!!!
You are invited to join us as we celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ on Sunday, April 4 at 10:30 AM.
This is also “Regathering Sunday” for our church family.  Through this last year because of the COVID situation we have had both an online service and an onsite service each Sunday.  April 4 will be our first Sunday back together as one church family in one service.  It has been a long journey together and God has been faithful.
We will continue for the time being honoring the below Ohio Governor’s Mask Mandate and will have masks and face shields available.
There will also be nursery and children’s church offered during the gathering.
COVID-19 and our gatherings:
On July 22, 2020, Ohio Governor Mike DeWine endorsed and implemented the Ohio Director of Health’s statewide mask mandate.  The elders of Cornerstone are persuaded that in the context of a public health crisis, it is reasonable for human government to initiate health orders.  Individuals may entertain thoughts about the legitimacy of those health concerns but at this time, church leadership ultimately has made the call to submit to Jesus Christ’s command to obey our government authorities on the issue of masks.
Therefore we will be following the State of Ohio Director of Health’s order and will be asking that masks be worn at our services.  Children 10 years old or younger are exempt.  Masks and Face Shields will be available.
No one is an expert at leading a local church through a situation like this with all the variety of backgrounds and sensitivities involved.  There are multiple perspectives through which to look at all this.  We are doing our best to stay focused on Christ, His example and authority, the Gospel itself, and commands in the scriptures where they seem most clear.  We, as we are confident is the case with our church family, covet His approval of our decisions over all else.
A complete letter to our church family on this issue is available on the “Leadership Team” tab at the top of this page.  It may help fill in any “gaps” you may have about our decision.
We currently are having both Facebook Live gatherings at 9 AM and ON-SITE gatherings at 11 PM on Sundays until April 4, 2021.
We are grateful to be able to gather together again regularly!!!
Our church email is checked often during the day and that may be the best way to contact us.  cornerstone2700@gmail.com
We are praying for our country and indeed the world that the church would show the treasure of Christ and His incredible gift of salvation and peace to us through His cross and continuing presence with and in us.
The Lord bless you and keep you
the Lord make His face to shine upon you
and be gracious to you and give you peace.
